The project is a 70,534 SF hospital expansion and renovation of the existing St. Luke’s McCall Hospital, composed of approximately 55,193 SF of addition and approximately 15,341 SF of remodel and mechanical penthouses. The project site scope includes approximately 104,000 SF expansion and renovation of the existing campus site including hard-scape, landscape and underground utilities.

Completed in July of 2023, the addition is located immediately north of the existing hospital and is made up of a two-story and mechanical penthouse level expansion.

Still in progress, the renovation area incudes the existing west half (1990’s construction) of the existing hospital which is composed of a one-story remodel and mechanical penthouse. The renovation involves demolishing the east half (1950’s construction) portion of the existing hospital to allow for a new front parking lot and drop-off area. 

This expansion provided St. Luke’s with enhanced facilities so they are better equipped to meet the medical needs of McCall’s growing community. The new facility features modern healthcare technology and spaces, including:

• 2 labor and delivery rooms
• 4 operating rooms
• 10 pre/post surgery bays
• Inpatient pharmacy
• Central sterile processing
• 24-hour emergency department
• Imaging department
• Lab, medical imaging, and cardiopulmonary spaces
• Infusion department
• Patient registration
• Patient waiting rooms
• Cardio-pulmonary department
• Kitchen and cafeteria
• Conference spaces
• Materials management department
• Hospital administration department
• Other ancillary spaces
