Treasure Valley Community College Groundbreaking

Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) officially broke ground on its new Evelyn S. Dame Nursing and Allied Health Professions Facility in Ontario, Oregon.

The design for this new building features a concrete foundation framed with steel structuring, a combined metal and brick exterior, interior finishes, and brand new state-of-the-art nursing equipment.

In designing a space specifically for Health Science programs, Hummel worked with stakeholders during programming to meet the specific needs of the building occupants. For instance, to support the Emergency Medical Technician program, a classroom was designed that allows an ambulance to drive directly into the space for real-world learning.

The new Treasure Valley Community College building encompasses approximately 30,733 SF located on a 69,000 SF lot. Spaces in the facility include a lobby, commons, labs, classrooms, and other areas for hands-on learning.
